New Release on Preorder Now!
Who hasn't had a crazy year? Mine was no different. Intense. Beautiful. Tragic. Really tragic. And then beautiful and with so many, many opportunities. But it has been stressful as all get-out.
Last August, I sent myself on a short writing holiday to get a grasp on the fact that I was going to have to finish rewrites and extensions on one manuscript, finish another (behemoth!) and write a whole new book in 5 months' time. It was hard, but I was going at it and I thought, "Yup, I can do this." Then tragedy struck again. I begged for an extension on the last book. And I was really, really running out of steam. I was ready to throw in the towel and tell my publisher that I had failed.
In the end, I took the pressure off myself. I told myself to just write the best book I could NOW, and not for all time. And I can honestly say, thanks to my editors and the team at Bookouture, they helped me turn my Red Hot Mess into something I am so, so thrilled to release into the world. They provided me with the space, the time and the patience to make it possibly my best work to date.
I'd like you to meet THE WOMAN AT THE GATES.The Woman at the Gates: Epic, heart-wrenching and gripping World War 2 historical fiction
