I've done some of those strange things too. Just got tickets to see American Utopia with David Byrne I couldn't have touched this show pre-pandemic and a baseball game after not one, but two postponements for opening day. Today I had a manicure with no mask. It felt weird, but good at the same time. New York is on its way to come back better!

I've just finished The Italian Wife and loved it. Would you consider The Jewish Wife or similar? A series; it seems a tribute and explanation of Women and a tapestry of American history. A positive novel with out the syrup.
'Lil Beethoven Publishing wrote: "Have to check out Ruth Ware now. Thanks Ann!"Funny -- while I love Ann Hoods books I couldn't stomach Ruth Ware's (see my reviews) though I did struggle through 4 of them. Everyone has different taste but I agree sometimes a narrator can make a book and she had a very good narrator.
