The title of this post is as much about the story I wrote, Longshot: A Life Less Ordinary, as it is a comment about how difficult it is to make your book a success. I have been posting online everywhere, talking to people online, and posting to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, MeWe, and everywhere else I can think of, trying to get the word out. So far, I have had a few successes, but nothing mind-blowing. I have started the next book in the series, but I am barely past chapter one at the moment. I am also writing a few short stories that will be part of a larger story, told over thousands of years, involving the future of humanity.
