I love to write. I used to be an avid reader of just about anything I could get my hands on in mythology, fairy tales, sci-fi and fantasy.

I got started at 3 with the Golden Picture Book Encyclopedia, which had a nice article about Arthur and Camelot. It stuck with me.

In high school, I had one English professor who encouraged us all to write, and I started in class with my journal, then took it home to write a whole sci-fi novel - it was terrible and I've lost 90% of the manuscript, and the rest is blah, but it got me going.

I'll post later what I like about writing fantasy so much. Mainly, there are no rules on what I can write about or how to make it work, other than good grammar and interesting stories.
