Well, my latest psychological thriller/murder mystery is up and running – please do give it a read! The Serial Thief: A Gripping Psychological Suspense
Like my other novels it’s a twisty ride full of surprises and also a deep character study that’s anything but formulaic. You may have noticed that I like my villains to be multi-dimensional...it’s not enough to show bad behaviour, I want the reader to understand the ‘why’ of it.
The idea for the story began when I asked myself what I thought was an intriguing question – what would happen if you were forced to share a room with the woman who ruined your life some fifty years earlier? Everything grew from there.
As postscript - don’t let the fact that the novel is initially set in an old age home scare you off! The reader travels back and forth in time through the swinging 60’s into the present and it really is a story that touches on everything – family, friendship, love, lust, betrayal and revenge.
