Free Britney?

Along with writing, I work as a coach for parents and partners who love a person with bipolar. This often involves guardianship conversations. I also wrote the first book ever for the partner of a person with a serious mental health disorder.

I had to go through the guardianship process when my partner was sick.

I have bipolar and a psychotic disorder.

I have to ask…

Are the people shouting Free Britney aware of the reality of untreated bipolar?

Are they seeing the same posts I am seeing on Instagram?

There seems to be a confusion about guardianship. It is for medical treatment.

I haven’t worked with Britney’s family and I can’t speak on the financial situation, but I can see she is ill.

Guardianship is not the enemy. It is a tool. It can be misused, but it can also save lives.

Her team quit. Change is terrible for bipolar. I hope the next judge who hears her new lawyer has experience in bipolar. Britney is ill. She needs help.
