**Sneak Peak**
Alice had seen endless posts like this one before. Newbies looking for advice. She didn’t even know why she was surfing the site except boredom. Alice was in between quests, with no raids waiting on the horizon and looking to kill time. Searching for any hidden gem in the forum. The new release was due out any day now and she was hoping for a leak. So why are you trying to help some noob?
As she scanned through the page, bypassing link after link, something made her stop on this one. Maybe it was the desperation that leaped off the page. Especially with a username like SftblGrl1BS. Who brags about playing softball on a gamer site? It had the makings of virtual bullying all over it.
The heading only read “NEED HELP!” Not specific about what the problem was; such as interface issues, game console, issues beating a level, cheat codes. Once it was opened, she felt bad for her thoughts.
Please help! I’m twenty-four and my nephew wants me to play Keep the Day with him but I have never played a day in my life. I would ask his help but he is ten and will soon be in a different state. I have set up my account but now have no idea what to do. I’ve tried watching videos, reading posts in forums, reading different sites that said what not to do as a new player…but nowhere does it tell you what to do. How to talk to my nephew directly. I just don’t understand it at all. Please, any advice at all is welcome.

She was right, the message was desperate. Suddenly she realized her eyes were welling up a little. The post read like an anxiety attack. She couldn’t imagine just starting to play as an adult. How overwhelming all the information must be. Just setting up an account took hours, plus the time trying to play without instructions. Heck, even sending a message on the blog meant creating a username. Worse, she knew the woman would not really find any help. Could she, should she try? Is there anything she would be able to say that would actually be of assistance? Or would it just be like all the others, not enough or too detailed? Was there a way to explain her world to a jock?
