Hey friendly reader! Julia here. Just in case you haven’t noticed, I’m trying to market my book myself. Trouble is, I’m a novelist, not a book PR expert (and boy, do I have some opinions about the demand for authors to do their own marketing!)

For the next series of posts I’ve created teasers, some flash fiction, and a pretty wacky attempt at writing a trailer (yeah, we’ll see if that one gets loaded!) In other words, I’m squirreling away coming up with creative ways of introducing the book to you and in a way that ensures no spoilers! Rose Goldman wakes up three days before her 16th birthday to one thought: I don’t want to get my tattoo.
