Have you ever read a book so good that it prompted you to sit down and write?

When I wrote my first book [and yes, I am going to shamelessly link it on the side ], I sat down and wrote. I just had to. I had to tell the story. Since then that passion has died down.

Not because I no longer want to tell stories. I still love being a story teller. The problem is all internal. Fear. Yet, every time I pick up a book that I just can’t seem to put down I find that passion for writing awaken with me.

This is why writers are encouraged to also be readers. That drive to tell a really good story can be found in all mediums and reading a really good book is one of them.

Ugh, now I have to decide if I want to sit down and write or read. lol.
