2022 Releases from Megan Fuentes, Emma Fontaine, & Daphne Cole
Let me sum up my 2021 really briefly for you: there was not a whole lot of the flow I set out to have. Clearly.
If you are subscribed to one or more of my newsletters, it may have felt like I dropped off the face of the earth. Sorry about that.
Surprise! I’m alive! And I am feeling renewed after attending Orlando Reads Books 2021.
By the way, I attended Orlando Reads Books 2021! I was safe, of course—masked up and distanced as often as I could be—but I did get to meet a few readers and I got to set up my table for the first time. (An emphasis is placed on “my” because I’ve previously attended conferences as an assistant, and while that was swell, this brought whole new levels of anxiety and heart-stopping joy to the event.)

I posted a Reel on my Instagram if you’d like to see pictures and the overall vibes of that weekend. If you couldn’t make it, you can still buy signed paperbacks!
Since listening to the many wonderful talks at ORB by indie inspirations such as Elana Johnson, I have decided to lean into what I am good at. I’ve long passed my one-year publishing anniversary, so I think I have enough data to report with absolute confidence that when I give myself immovable deadlines, I will actually, like, give you guys books to read.
So, I’ve done something that is a little dangerous.
I have three 2022 Amazon pre-orders up right now. Before the end of 2021, there will be a fourth one up, too.
Don’t look at me like that.
Or, if you must look at me like that, then scroll down a little and see what all I’m up to while you’re at it.

In St. Louis With You
OUT FEBRUARY 14, 2022
This will be my fourth World’s Fair historical romance, and it’ll also be my last for a while. I’m looking to explore other genres (you’ll see what I mean if you keep scrolling!).
Kate’s husband’s last wish was to have his best friend marry his widow and keep her company. They’ve gone through with it, but grief and guilt still haunt them. Can a day at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition bring them closer, or will they part ways forever?

Next August
OUT JUNE 20, 2022
Who is this Daphne Cole person? Certainly not another pen name of mine I invented because what Aria Bliss and Stephanie Harrell were doing looked like fun. Nope. Doesn’t sound like me.
Next August is a steamy (!) contemporary (!) romance that you’ll love if you enjoyed the story depicted in “august” from Taylor Swift’s folklore.

Overnight Princess
OUT AUGUST 1, 2021
If you read Sense & Sensitivity and wanted to know more about Adeline’s parents, this is their story, a retelling of “The Princess & the Pea.”
Diantha is a thief, but she’s no kidnapper. That’s why she returns the runaway princess to Castle Cicer when her band of thieves plan to hold her for ransom. She doesn’t expect to be invited in, and she certainly doesn’t expect to have such a strong connection with Prince Clement. When her fellow thieves catch up with her, will she and Clement win the fight for happily ever after?

The Flower Shop Witch
OUT OCTOBER 31, 2022
I love historical anything. I am obsessed with witches. I heart finding solutions to problems (a.k.a., solving mysteries). I have florals everywhere. You must’ve known something like this was coming eventually.
Set in the 1950s, this book will be the start of a new historical cozy mystery series with more than a little magic. If you wish The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel solved mysteries, this is the book for you!
