Hello, and welcome! My name is Emily Morning, but that’s just my pen-name not my top-secret real name, which no one shall ever know . . . *evil laugh*
In all seriousness, I am an avid reader, an aspiring writer, and have been a published indie-author for just over a year now!
At 17 I published the 1st book in my series, The Silverblood Trilogy. The Queen’s Assassin released in June 2021. In December of the same year, The Silver Prince came out. And now in August 2022, I published the final piece in my series, The King’s Heir.
It was a four year journey finishing this trilogy, and now I cannot wait to see where my writing goes next!
Currently I’m working on a rom-com called Some Sort of Story, that has more com than rom, as I like to say.
I also have dreams to write a historical fantasy, and possibly a dystopian standalone!
Besides for writing, I do a ton of reading, which is why I’m here on Goodreads.
My favourite authors are Nadine Brandes, Marissa Meyer, Stephanie Garber, and Andrew Peterson.
My top favourite books, and the books I would quite possibly die for are Romanov by Nadine Brandes and Heartless by Marissa Meyer!
Some of my favourite series include: The Lunar Chronciles, The Folk of the Air trilogy, the Legend trilogy, the Wingfeather Saga, the Caraval series, and the Selection!
When I’m not writing, or reading, I’m most likely drawing while listening to musicals like Hamilton, Newsies and West Side Story, or riding horses.
