Though I respect your decision, I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I started reading your material because it seemed you didn't conform to the YA standards but had the same fun spirit. I guess I am considered an adult that enjoys reading YA books but I felt like your books had a twist that made them more appropriate for my age (27). I know I wouldn't want my 13-year-old child reading some of the graphic details. I have recommended your books to many family and friends, raving about your writing. I first found your books when I was searching for a new series to start. I wasn’t looking for anything specific and stumbled upon Demon Girl because the cover caught my attention. Now, though the covers are pretty, they look very similar to many other books I've read. I hope that what seems to be more of a superficial change will not affect your style or the overall concept of what you write. Good luck.
