Hello everyone! I'm Cierra Martinez and I am the YA Author of As We Are. As We Are is my debut novel and I am currently working on my second novel which will be coming out very soon. My favorite genre to read and write in is YA Contemporary. I love stories that center around teens and their struggles. I think its really important for teens to see themselves in these stories and characters. I always like to be able to relate to the characters I'm reading about. I feel like these stories teach us lessons and give us examples to be our best in life. I also love stories about strong friendships because I think friendships are a really important element in life. When I'm not reading or writing I'm usually fangirling over Marvel or other nerdy things I like. One thing you should know about me is that I am a HUGE Twilight fan with posters on my walls. A favorite hobby of mine is making wax melts that look like desserts because I both like candles and desserts.
