Stephen describes receiving a blessing as a depiction of his father’s heart. Think about that when you read this verse from Ephesians 1:3, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” How is this a picture of God’s heart as a Father? If we have put our faith in Christ, this is what the Father does for us.
