I have entered a twitter contest after loosing my original twitter account due to theft of my device, and nope twitter was no help at all. I lost 7000 follows.
Why twitter follows are so important to authors. It is a platform to keep readers and friends up to date with your author happenings, but I find it a safe and delightful space to just be spontaneous and give my followers the backstage version of me.
Mostly why I need to build up numbers is that I plan to in the future query Agents with , when it comes to that time where I believe I have written that book. And what do Agents look for outside of your book - they check out your following.
