Amazon reviews!
The reception to my release, Stones, Stars and the Storms Between has been fairly warm despite the slow(ish) start. But reviews have started coming in and I couldn't be happier about it.
Here is a clip from the most recent one.
"This book contains seven stories that pull at a common theme and keep the reader engaged throughout the entire book. It was hard to pick a favorite but if pressed I would have to say chapter 3 – Broken Mind, Shattered Heart probably stands out as one of the best in the series to me. However, Of Stars Before is a nice way to wrap up the series as a whole.
I will include that some of the stories felt a bit lacking in character intentions, but not enough to really hinder the experience of the read."
I left the sentiment about the intentions because I don't want to seem misleading. This was a five-star review and the 8th one I got. Of Stars Before just so happens to be a prequel short to one of my current WIPs- Of Stars Below.
That being said- in other news- I'm currently at about 50% on Bloodwoven, the first book in a planned trilogy. I also have Of Stars Below, book one of a planned duology, on its third draft. So lots of stuff is in the works.
