Superheroine Spellcaster Foreshadow

“C,mon now, you were late on purpose, it gave you an excuse to hold and kiss my hand. I cannot believe you would stoop to something so low.”
“And still your smile betrays you. You are flattered… and pleased.”

She was met by a man with hypnotizing eyes and an addicting smile. She immediately felt at ease, as if all her burdens were lifted from her heart and mind. She sensed power, not malevolent but on the contrary, steady confident power that makes you feel safe enough to fall asleep knowing you would wake up later in a better condition than when you had closed your eyes.
This man took Spellcaster’s burnt hand in his and lowered his head to meet it and kissed her wound while never leaving her gaze. Eye to eye the two smiled at each other oblivious of everything and everyone else.
“Giovanni Ensorcell at your service. Welcome to the year 2080, Great Seer Spellcaster Foreshadow,” a soft voice spoke, no, sang was more accurate.
“C,mon now, you were late on purpose, it gave you an excuse to hold and kiss my hand. I cannot believe you would stoop to something so low.”
“And still your smile betrays you. You are flattered… and pleased.”
Spellcaster studied the male smiling at her. An ancient protective sense kicked in and she quickly withdrew her hand. “I have what I needed.” She said bluntly, looking down her nose at the arrogant male she knew was trouble. The newspaper she sought shot into her hand, and she disappeared as quickly as she had appeared.
