First diary post! I feel like all social media is like a diary, except on these platforms, you want engagement. It would be weird if you went to make a new entry in your diary and there was someone else's writing in there responding to your last entry. HA! Let's talk about that another time. Any who, I just published my first book(s). Exciting! Scary! Uncertain! I put the (s) because I broke the first book into 2 parts. Traditional publishers told me a debut author should not have 187k words in one book. HA! I took their advice sort of. Breaking the book into 2 actually fueled my creative fire and now the covers look awesome. I will do this with the remaining two books as well. The first volumes in my series AN EGYPTIAN TALE are titled Amulets of Princess Amun-Ra. It's about a sassy princess who finds that the crown she thought she was born for, may not belong to her. She becomes tied to the Gods of Egypt and a lower-class male from a village she was forbidden to ever enter. That's about it. I mean, they do go on a very dangerous journey through Egypt to find these Amulets that call to them. They belonged to Amun-Ra himself. SO, go read the book to find out the rest.
