Just a quick (or long) update! =)
Good morning, friends!
Much has been happening in my author world and I'd like to take a few minutes and update everyone on my latest happenings!
First, I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying Spring!
This month I'm working on a book entitled A Valentine's Day Mix-Up to submit to Hallmark. It's the first time I've submitted to a big publishing house and if it's not accepted I'll release it on Amazon.
You could say I'm slightly scared. What if it's not good enough? What if they hate it? Lol! If A Valentine's Day Mix-Up is not accepted by Hallmark, then I'll write another book, and another...but I will never give up! I hope the same determination lights a fire inside of you!
I just want to take a second and encourage you. It's never too late to start over, friends. If you have a dream, nurture it, believe it's possible, and then go after it with all your might! You WILL succeed!
You CAN reach your goals. You CAN succeed at whatever you want to achieve.
NEVER GIVE UP!
Last month, I released Rustic Love which is book #2 in the Bluebell Ranch Romance series. This series has five books total and I'm hoping to be finished by next fall. Book #3, Heartstrings, is up for pre-order now! It's releasing on April 16th.
Here's the blurb:
A cowboy preacher opens his life to a homeless woman and her son, unaware by doing so they reveal God's deepest calling on his heart: love.
A man-of-the-cloth cowboy, Mitch Wray has no room for love in his life. Feeling the call to ministry at a young age, he's centered his sole purpose around serving Christ and pastoring the local church in Blessings.
That is, until a wild-haired beauty, full of fire and freckles, explodes into his life like a shimmering shower of meteorites.
Violet O'Sullivan immigrated from Ireland hoping to start a fresh life for her and her four-year-old son, Carter. Instead, a victim of a devastating scheme, she loses everything and is left with only dashed hopes and dreams. Taking a chance on a town called Blessings, she seeks refuge at the shelter and catches the eye of a dedicated, distant cowboy.
Strong and dependable, Mitch might just be exactly what she and her son need. If only she can overcome her fear of mistrust and learn to love a rugged cowboy with a servant's heart, then Violet may find the peaceful life she left Ireland so desperately seeking to find.
Check out this heartwarming tale of a mother's love and the unshakable power of God's perfect timing today!
Doesn't that sound adorable? I'll include the link here: https://amzn.to/3ipBG9g
Then at the end of May, I'll be releasing my first non-fiction Christian self-help book entitled: Spiritual Warfare and the Gift of Discernment. It's also available for pre-order and here's that blurb:
War is raging all around us, unseen to the naked eye. Are YOU prepared for battle?
Onward Christian soldier, marching as to war... It's a familiar hymn. One sung often in churches across the country, but do we really understand the meaning of this battle cry? Face it, my friends, we are in a war. One where the forces of darkness try every sneaky and underhanded tactic to defeat our chosen purpose.
We are called.
We are anointed,
And the battle is for each and every soul on the planet.
Through the Gift of Discernment bestowed only by the Holy Spirit, walk with me, believer, into the journey uncovering this powerful gift and learn how to use it to claim victory in your life!
You'll discover:
Signs you possess the Gift of Discernment.
Prayers to help guide you in the full power of the Holy Spirit.
Scripture to support the power you have access to in Jesus' name!
Answers to questions about dreams, gut feelings, sensing entities, and visions.
Spiritual Warfare and the Gift of Discernment written by Christian author Ashlea McComas gives scripture-based evidence of living a fulfilling God-centered life with real-life examples of discernment that can empower you today!
