New Network; Re-Release
Believe it or not, I am still trying to figure out what the heck I am doing on Goodreads. I've written blog posts before, but I'm never sure if anyone even sees or reads them, ha. 😉 So if you see and read this, pretty please let me know so I know it works. I've figured out Instagram, for the most part, but Goodreads is still a little mysterious to me.
I've been busy. I started several novels, and I had my release from last year professionally edited which included lots of rewriting. 'Healing the Orphaned Heart' is currently with my new editor for a final proofread. The re-release is scheduled for April 9th.
I've also started a new network after social media was getting on my nerves repeatedly and after seeing several followers lose their Instagram accounts to hackers. It is devastating that your hard work can be taken away just like that and Instagram does nothing. One of my author friend's followers lost his account to a hacker and he had over 13k followers. Not cool.
So, since I am sick of that and because I want a back-up for myself and everyone else who is tired of the censoring and bots' control, I researched the Internet and am now running 'LetsWriteLetsRead' a network and community for everyone who loves books. It is for readers, authors, editors, book cover designers, etc alike and anyone who has anything to do with reading or writing is welcome to join. https://letswriteletsread.mn.co
The Network comes with a little membership fee for certain features and safety measures, but that fee should also keep away those dang hackers, scammers, and creeps we keep finding everywhere on those free social media platforms. There are no hidden payments attached, it is just the fee (either monthly or annually) so not just one person has to pay it. I and a few other authors have been exploring it for the past few weeks and we are loving it. You don't have to leave your other social media platforms, those are free after all, but it gives us the chance to build up to something that isn't associated with the Silicon Valley monopoly. Feel free to check it out and join it.
