I'll leave you with this first thought: The best way to tell a lie is to wrap it in the truth. Writing a thriller novel is an exercise in telling lies. We are creating a fiction. It's a story. But for it to be a good, believable story, you should think that it could have happened. So part of our process is to base our stories on things that did happen, and then speculate on how things could have been different if we inserted certain fictions, and let our characters interact with them. Also, we do a tremendous amount of research, so our fictions can be as close to reality as possible. I hope you enjoy reading the books as much as we enjoy crafting them.
