Book 4 launch day!

Today is the launch of my 4th book, 'Stories for the Apocalypse #1: Notes on the New Normal.'

Seven short fiction stories based on the sense of societal unease, the rising mania I've been feeling for the last few years as people struggle to cope, and often capitulate as the wheels come off modern life.

We seem to have suffered a disconnect from the spiritual. From. nature. Too often from our senses...

You may have seen the images of me running around a national park under a ghost sheet. Daniel Allison Photographer knows me better than most, and he was able to hold it together enough to capture the book's mood in the macabre series of images.

The observations, reflections, and explorations in the character-driven stories have been a great release for me, a way to express both my own take on the madness at large and the wider experienced extremes.

I don't know many who have not struggled to manage their emotions in the face of blatant government corruption, pandemics, ecological crises, and the dominance of digital in our lives and I hope it resonates with a few of you. It's a rather raw blend of black comedy and suburban horror that will make you laugh and gag in the same sentence.

It is available now on e-book retailers, and for those who wish to avoid the corps, you can support me independently by grabbing the book in PDF and EPUB formats at https://bentallonwriter.com
