Hello World!
I'm new to GoodReads, and this is my first blog post, so bear with me...
I recently published two political books: What Is Conspiracy?: More than a Theory and China vs USA: A Primer for Skeptics.
The first book is a prequel to Conspiracy Science, a much bigger reference that will hopefully be finished by the middle of the year (2022). I want to revise China vs USA every year, making it a valuable reference for keeping tabs on the paths China and the U.S. are both following.
After the middle of the year, I want to get back to work on a huge project I began working on three-and-a-half decades ago: state symbols.
Geobop's State Symbols will be the biggest state symbols reference ever published. The downside: Some people might find it a little boring, for the simple reason that too many state symbols are boring. Dozens of states call milk their official beverage and the honeybee their state insect, for example.
This book will also probably be pretty expensive.
Moving beyond stuffy references, My State Symbols Book will be a more readable (and more affordable) survey of the hundreds of state symbols that have been adopted. Although it focuses on the more notable symbols, it will still have reference value, featuring lists of all the symbols adopted by each state.
