The Spring Slog

“April is the cruelest month…”

Wife and I finally got Covid. (Happy Easter, eh?)

I’m on the mend but it really took the wind out of my sails. After-effects are hanging on.

On a positive note, it looks like there’s another Osprey rule book in my future. So that’s cool.

Fiction-wise, I’ve got another Exclusion Zone short in the queue and Shattered Worlds Book 2, “Into the Scorned Lands’ is moving forward.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Pip Sending warm wishes to you and your wife, Patrick. My family finally got Covid in February; put my father in the hospital for two weeks, put me and those around me into survival mode for a while (health-wise, mentally, and financially). It did refocus me on what matters most, even when things were looking really bleak, so I'm thankful for that, but wouldn't wish it on anyone.

"“Into the Scorned Lands’ is moving forward" I'd be smashing the preorder button right now if there was one!

Patrick Todoroff Thanks very much. I can't express how much the encouragement means.
I feel like I've been wading through syrup these last two years, trying to stay focused, inspired, on task. It's nice to know the work matters.
