Returning Veterans & the Balance Sheets of War

Many returning service people - both men and women - from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, are suffering from the same illnesses as the veterans of America's previous wars: Flashbacks, nightmares, nervousness, high sensitivity to noises and light, depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. We must force our government to make sure that America's modern veterans are receiving the very best care that America can provide. Many times the treatment helps. Sometimes it does not. The point is this: Let's ensure that these maladies make it to the balance sheet of America's wars. Were it not for those who answered the calls, quite possibly the existence of goodreads would have been impossible.
