“…Not everything is about you and it’s time to resaddle.
We’ve ridden this wave of self-realisation for more than a decade now, maybe even a quarter of a century. To some extent that is good and actually necessary.
We’ve all heard the flight attendants say, “If a plane crashes, get the oxygen mask and help yourself before you help others.” We get it. It’s become a common mantra and a bit so-last-year. Many are now out searching for the newest new to latch on to in order to grow, expand, understand and embrace for themselves.

Here’s the thing though. People have become so caught up in their own bubble of oxygen that they forget to embrace the other passengers. They’ve become so delighted with their own light, which to some extend is very good, because we all need to feel that love. But many have forgotten to reach out. Many have become so focused on their own light and how to make it shine brighter, bigger and better, that they forget to actually embrace and include.
To grow and to embrace your own light is very good. A garden without water, that is left to dry, will not grow and will eventually die. But likewise, a garden that gets too much water is flooded and will drown.

So everything needs a balance. And now we need to look a little further. A bit beyond. We need to actually embrace and include - beyond ourselves.”♥️
