Writer’s Affirmation Poem

I am creative
I value the love of my friends and family
I write the words in my heart
I trust that my words are worth sharing
I honor the people who love me
I give voice to the ache in my heart
I give voice to the hope in my heart
I am capable of sharing
I make people feel better; stronger
I hold the power of words in my heart
I am safe writing on the page
I make my home a place to write
