Something New
I've never had a blog, mostly because I didn't think my life was that interesting. It's crazy sometimes but not really interesting enough for anyone to really care.
I'm new to this, having recently had the courage to self-publish a book. I'm not really sure it will get read but I needed to take the leap. It's been on my bucket list for ages.
My profile page states I have one review but the last time I checked there were eight. I've been told that some don't show because people only chose STARS and don't add any comments. That confused me for a bit. A lot of this confuses me, especially the advertising part. Yep, what I have in literary skills, I totally lack in math skills.
Hey, I taught preschool for years. We barely did addition or subtraction, or at least not formally. We did count and learn to recognize numerals. My favorite story from that subject was the day one of my girls took a pencil and carefully printed the letter /B/. She turned it to me and smiled when I said it was a terrific letter /B/. She took back the paper and made a vertical line in front of the letter. I said it was a nice /I/ but she shook her head. An /L/? Again a shake. She smiled and tapped it a few times. "I made a one, now its B-teen!" And there was born the marriage of letters and numbers!
