Life lessons from Tuesdays with Morrie Book by Mitch Albom
We need to forgive ourselves. For all the things we didn’t do. All the things we should have done. You can’t get stuck on the regrets of what should have happened.”
Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morries

The life lessons from Tuesdays with Morrie’s book are about the importance of family, friends, and human connection. Whether we’re talking about the end of life or the beginning of it, people are often too busy to make time for others. But as Morrie realized, sometimes you only get one shot at life. And when it’s over, you miss out on all of those great moments you could have shared with others.
The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love and receive love in return. You will learn how to give and receive love by having a loving attitude toward yourself and others. You will also learn that your greatest learning experiences often come from the people who are closest to you – like friends and family members who have been there for us throughout our lives.
Don’t take time for granted
Morrie had been diagnosed with ALS, a terminal illness that affects the brain and spinal cord. He wasn’t expected to live more than a few years, but he was determined to teach Mitch everything he knew before he died. He knew his time was limited and wanted to make the most of every moment.
It’s important to forgive others
It is heavy on the chest to hold grudges for a long time. The anger could lead to resentment and it could lethally damage your inner self if you keep on holding up to that untoward feeling. But it is significant to keep in mind that you can only forgive when you are ready and not necessarily when just other people tell you otherwise.
Be grateful for your life right now
Mitch felt like nothing good ever happened in his life until he finally started appreciating what was around him instead of focusing on what wasn’t there yet or what had already passed him by. It tells us that we can actually be grateful for what we have while working at what we want.
For those who read Tuesdays with Morrie, the book will be nothing but pure pleasure. The lessons in the book will be an uplifting experience that your friends and colleagues can live up to and certainly will appreciate if you recommend this good book to them. For those who haven’t read this book, prepare for a life lesson about living a meaningful life filled with love and compassion for yourself and others.
