Here it is. Number seven. A collection of short stories written over the years, usually while writing a novel or three. From high school on, I’ve loved writing. Never did I think I’d write novels. After all, writing a three-page short story for Creative Writing class, or a poem to add to my journal, is a world away from writing a full book. But somehow, I did it.

Of course, publishing a work is above and beyond writing it. Imagine that walking to the corner store is the equivalent of writing. Well, publishing and marketing are like a trip to Alpha Centauri, and that is where my better half comes in. My wife, Carol, is the literary astronaut who braves the deep darkness of the publishing process. She’s an intrepid being who never gives up. I like to say, “I just write the stuff.” The real force behind the words is my beloved. And she’s cute, too.
