After drifting about in an endless, featureless sea, The Mariner has returned and is the focus of a new project. By harnessing the power of AI, I am creating a series of images for The Mariner which shall be posted here, on Twitter and on Instagram. The AI in question is MidJourney who deserve all the credit for these fantastic images. There are some restrictions on what I can generate: no disturbing imagery, sexual content or gore, and as those of you who are familiar with The Mariner know these things feature quite heavily in the writing. For this reason many of the images focus on setting and tone, rather than action sequences.

For now I am still at work creating them, but in the meantime here are a few teasers.
