I have always been a huge sci-fi fan. Star Wars, Star Trek, Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica, you name it. So, of course, the first book series I would write would be in the sci-fi genre -- Destiny Aurora. I also produced a backdoor Star Trek pilot called Star Trek: Renegades.

I have also been a big fan of sword and sorcery, which makes up about 60% of the novels I read. So, after five years of writing sci-fi, I am making the leap to YA Fantasy. I've very excited about the release of the first book - Tales of Ravenor: The Iron Witch.

How do you guys feel about both genres and what made you love them?
