Today is a momentous day for our family. We drop off one of my daughters to college. I don’t know how I’ll be throughout the day, but nostalgia floods my memory bank.

I don’t even know how we got here. She has been under our roof and before we know it, she’s itching to leave to find her own path. I can’t help but think if I was a good father, someone she knows she can rely on. Did I do enough to prepare her for the world?

I sure hope so. And the test of time will tell the full story. Here’s to surviving today and the days forthcoming from a dad who loves his special, beautiful daughter.
