What a summer! So blasted hot everywhere! I was lucky enough to spend 2 months in England (Wales and France too) and it was ridiculously hot there too, with NO air conditioning to speak of. Travelling on trains and the underground and buses is a different experience in 90+ degree heat. But somehow you stop thinking about it as your eyes feast on all the history there.

I spent a great deal of time seeking out places to base future books, and I got so many ideas while I was there.
Then it was back to the USA, a bout of Covid (ugh) and all the chores neglected over 2 months of travel......

How is everyone's summer going? Hard to believe we are almost done with August.

I'm excited about my next book coming out in October. This one is set in Africa, a place I lived as a child. I really enjoyed writing it and visiting all my old memories.
