Success or failure?
President Joe Biden
Successful? Or Unsuccessful?
Let us begin with a list of President Biden’s accomplishments: (It can’t be all-conclusive; he has done so much!)
1) One of his first acts was to cancel the Keystone Pipeline project, thereby eliminating an estimated 11,000 good-paying jobs, and offending Canada by refusing to buy approximately 840, 000 barrels of oil per day. The result is that while during the Trump Presidency, the United States was energy-independent—even had reserves to supply to our allies--now the US has to go begging from our enemies to supply our own needs. At the same time, Russia, with plenty of natural gas and petroleum products to sell, can well afford their war in Ukraine while the US has to borrow to support the Ukrainians. Oh, did I forget to tell you? He also stopped all drilling on any federal land that showed promise of the presence of oil, and forbade drilling off-shore. Plus he has placed disincentives to drilling on the petroleum companies, reducing our domestic output. He is suppressing our economy markedly by reducing or making much more expensive all fossil fuels—those used to drive the machinery in our factories and to move the big trucks who make delivery of those products. All in the name of the Green New Deal. Global warming—the biggest fraud ever propagated upon the American people
.
2) Halted any construction on the border wall separating the USA from Mexico. Billions of dollars-worth of materials are rusting in the open air, and in a short time will be useless.
3) Stopped a program that required immigrants seeking asylum in the US to remain in Mexico until the matter had been adjudicated. The resultant ‘open border’ has permitted approximately three million illegals to gain access to America—not counting maybe another million ‘got-aways’; those who entered unobserved or not stopped and identified.
4) During the open border fiasco, the Mexican drug cartels have made billions of dollars by charging each illegal for getting them to and across the border, plus millions more from the sale of all kinds of drugs—including the ‘killer’ drug, Fentanyl (ingredients provided by China). More than one hundred thousand Americans have died of ingesting Fentanyl in the past year. Illegal immigrants are treated like honored gusts, while many of the nation’s veterans are living on the street.
5) Passed 1.2 Trillion-dollar Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act—which devoted less than fifteen percent of the money to infrastructure or jobs. Then Progressives rammed through both houses of Congress in August of 2022 the Inflation Reduction Act at a cost of 737 billion dollars. It will do the opposite of its name.
6) Was in charge of the most ignominious retreat/withdrawal in which the USA was ever involved when he got all our military out of Afghanistan, while leaving seven billion dollars-worth of up-to-date military equipment for the Taliban and Al Qaeda to use. He also left many American civilians and many Afghan allies behind to face the wrath of the Taliban.
7) Is President in the period when the US suffers the worst inflation in more than forty years. This after Trump had given the US the lowest unemployment and the best living conditions in American history . . . until Dr. Fauci’s ‘Pandemic’.
Oh, there is so much more . . . Like his announcing to Russia and the world that if Russia only made a small incursion into Ukraine, the US might not respond at all. Like showing the world his fear of China by trying to talk Nancy Pelosi out of visiting Taiwan. Like saying he has never discussed business with his son Hunter—while attending dinners with Hunter and Chinese business executives and members of Hunter’s company.
However, we will stop there and assess how well or poorly Biden has performed; whether he has been ‘successful’ or ‘unsuccessful’.
If President Biden’s goal was to be president only of the Progressive party and the uber wealthy; if he is seeking to reduce America to the level of a third or fourth-tier country; if President Biden wishes to be instrumental in creating enormous national debt, while exhausting the coffers of federal and state governments on welfare and related ‘obligations’ in order to force a National Emergency and THEN call for dissolution of our democratic republic; or if he is, indeed, completely under the sway and in the pay of the Chinese Communist Party and Xi Jinping . . . Then I would describe him as extraordinarily successful.
If he could truthfully deny each of the suggested goals/positions listed in the above paragraph, then he is the most miserable failure in American history—a worse president than Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter.
