Been poking around my Goodreads Author Page and thought I'd give the blog a try!

Hello and welcome! I'm Alice. I'm a Canadian fantasy author living in London UK. My debut Shanghai Immortal comes out Jul/Aug 2023, it's got frenemies, cinnamon rolls, found family, 1930s Shanghai vibes, awkward crushes, fancy cocktails, and xiaolongbao, among other things.



This week and next I'm working on edits, basically trying to make it so that readers ugly cry when they get to certain bits. Sorrynotsorry!

Is there something you'd like to know about me or my writing? Let me know in the comments... I'm hoping there are comment fields. Not sure since I'm new to Goodreads blogs. The interface here is quite old school which is actually kind of fun. Retro futuristic if that's a thing.

Am off to watch the Rings of Power for the first time. Hope it is good!
