I am currently on book two in "The Road To Oblivion" trilogy. I'm a little over 70,000 words in and it's flowing! I feel very connected to this book and I'm excited, and curious, to see where these characters decide to take me. It sounds silly but these characters really do tell the story... I'm just the messenger.

Today, I will be working on chapter twenty-six, and I'm looking forward to it. At this point in the book, a certain character is going to be introduced, a character that I have yet to meet, and I am eager to see how everything plays out. I'm especially ready to see how a certain (someone) reacts to said character. As I said, these characters tell the story. What I mean by that is that I'll have an idea of what I want to happen. However, most of the time, it never goes according to plan because these characters have a mind of their own and throw me for a loop; that is exciting and sometimes frustrating. LOL!

Fun fact: I listen to music as I write, and although not every song makes it into the book, I do have certain songs I listen to for each scene that I write.
I also envision every scene as if I was right there experiencing it for myself and have a Pinterest board from which I get inspo. One day, I'll share and give you a visual, but I think we can all admit our minds are way better than any photo we see.
