Although dishonesty sometimes works—to get what you want, to avoid responsibility, to save money, to fill a short-term need—at best it is temporary, at worst it will cause pain and destroy relationships. In business it will guarantee failure. Being honest requires that you make tough decisions and accept responsibility for your actions, and in the long run, it will bring success in life and in business.
