Flight of Fitrus — NASA Space Apps Challenge 2022 Karachi, Pakistan (Project Submission)
NASA Hackathon (for the year) 2522
Artifact from the future.
In October 2522, the world is in deep chaos exactly 500 years later. The trillionares keep pushing boundaries of going farther and farther. External factors such as the spacecrafts are not the limiting factor for their travel anymore. Limitation is rather intrinsic.
Protagonist of the story, Fitrus, develops methods for enhancing the human biology for widening that bottleneck. He aims at charging steep prices for the biological ticket of universal tourism. His true aim is rather concealed.
https://unsplash.com/photos/qtRF_RxCAo0The problem now lies in educating trillionares, mostly teenagers, about the limitations of such modifications in the human body. However, convincing even a single person can mean hitting numerous targets with a single arrow. He knows that psyche more than anyone.
The strategy is rather simple. Help the audience wrap their head around something money can’t buy, well, completely. These trillionares can be presented with a gamified version for choosing the biological modern solutions, and then the possibilities that can be derived from their set of choices.
The process can be compared to ordering a subway sandwich, but for the enhancement of your body! The sole aim: explore the limits of the farthest vacation possible. Who knows, maybe even the farthest colonization one day?
Being a trillionare client can get you many options. You can take inspiration from microbes, plants, or mice in space. The data collected from each source would then be custom tailored to your biological needs.
Picking one option can enable you to make choices specific to that particular dimension. For instance, one of these can open the wide range from having strong immunity from radiation, a strong tolerance for medicine, or to get the healing power that can mean the difference between life or death.
Fitrus and his team are ready to serve, and help you make the best choice for the perfect space traveling experience… For the right price, of course.
