Book Review Video & Update on Book Two

October 2022

Here’s the latest video trailer for The Way of the River: Kellandale Wood (Book One). It features original artwork from book illustrator Thomas Spyker; a sweet little musical interlude written for the story by Pete Lambros, my father and originator of the original idea behind the Tales of Henry and the music written for it; and a few select review blurbs for the book that have come in since the books release.

It was great fun putting it all together to create this latest video for use on Instagram and Facebook! The music originally helped drive the writing, and later, in a circular maneuverer, the writing of the story began to influence new musical pieces.

In Kellandale Wood (Book Two) news, chapters 1-3 have been completed and I have begun working on chapter 4. As stated before, the entire book is now outlined, with room for minor additions and plot tweaks. I am also expecting the characters to pull me in unexpected directions as I write their actions and dialogue, as that is certainly happened with book one. It’s a byproduct of my own emerging writing style and an aspect that I am very passionate about. As someone who has always been intrigued by automatic writing and surrealist art, it’s my way of allowing things to be pulled from my subconscious and helps me to create characters who act true to their own individual personalities.

The title of Book Two still has yet to be revealed as I debate when to share it…but when I do, I will do it here first on this blog!
