The book was inspired by a birthday I spent in Dublin, Ireland, an amazing time at a C. S. Lewis Oxbridge Event in Oxford, England this summer, rich memories made in Scotland, different places in Ireland and England, the mountains of North Carolina, and golden hours spent reading Seamus Heaney, W.B. Yeats, C. S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, George MacDonald, John O' Donohue, Malcolm Guite, Neil Gaiman, Celtic music, and the music of Jon Foreman.
