Happy Nano 2022!!!

Unless you have been living under a rock, you know all about National Novel Writing Month that happens every November. Where writers across the globe attempt to write a novel (50,000 words) in just 30 days.

If you have already guessed, yes I am doing Nano this year. I decided to work on The Hood Diaries series. The next nine books actually. I’m aware that I am not going to be able to write the entire thing during this November, but I am going to attempt to get them started so that next year I can do a rapid release and get caught up with my publishing schedule.

So, onto day one. It’s actually going pretty good. The goal is to write 1,667 a day to finish by 11/30. I had previously blocked off days off due to my work schedule and wanting to rest, so the plan is to write more than the recommended words to be sure to stay on track.

Today’s ending word count is 3,145.

So, far we are off to a good start. Let’s hope we keep this momentum going for all of November.
