Since I released by first novel THE NEED TO KNOW, that - as most first novels are - was a labor of love, and sweat, and cursing, and doubt, and vindication when it finally got out there, I have been deterred by this concept of speed writing.

You know of which I speak. For indy authors the idea of building readers is volume. "Crank them out and flood them with your witty prose." Oh how I wish I could claim I was that brilliant, but trust me, I am not.

In my mind, and probably to my detriment, I'm a book a year kinda guy ( writer). So, since I'm old fashioned in this thinking, and hopelessly doomed to obscurity on the coveted readers' rooms I fear, I better be cranking out some seriously catchy yarns.
