Anna Faversham I stopped having a live tree many years ago now as I just couldn't bear to throw it away after Christmas. I did keep one in a small tub and that was great and looked good for many years.

I hope they replant what they cut down. I think young trees capture more CO2 than fully grown ones.

Thanks, Virginia.

Virginia Arthur It's ridiculous we still kill millions of, yes, young carbon sequestering trees that then become fire hazards because we stick lights on them and dry them out for a month. Nuts. I don't even have a tree inside anymore. I decorate one of my former live trees now growing happily in the yard (including 'bird garland' of popcorn, peanuts). Thanks Anna.
