When Stars Align

With this new year, I am so excited to finally share some of the big news I've been holding onto!
As many of you know, 2021-2022 was a tough year for me. In the fall of 2021, as I looked at my calendar of family events, I began to feel extremely overwhelmed. There was so much to do.
Between events and ceremonies with my high school senior, and the upcoming relocation (including all the renovations and packing it entailed), I was afraid that finding writing time would be a struggle. As I pushed forward, that fear proved to be right. I couldn't keep up with it.
Instead of fighting it, I took a step back, took a deep breath, and decided that I needed to make a choice. It was hard to put my writing aside - especially as readers reached out frequently about new books, particularly regarding Unicorn Tales - but I knew that it was the right choice.
Family first.
Still, during that time, I felt a call to my stories. And I'd felt a call to something else. Something different, something more. I'd been working on the idea and bouncing it around for several years but hesitated to take the leap. (Those on my Scream Team may even recall my inquiry about it in February 2021.)
Then the stars aligned.
In the spring of 2022, I signed a book contract.
This wasn't just any book contract. It was bigger than I could have imagined. It took courage and a massive leap of faith.
I'm excited to announce that I'm a contributing author in THE REALM OF MIDNIGHT, A PARANORMAL ROMANCE ANTHOLOGY releasing October 2023!!!
This also means that I have launched a pen name!!
