Books by the Banks
I will be at the Books by the Banks Book Fair in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday, October 2, sponsored by one of my fav book stores, Joseph-Beth. This is the second year I've been invited, and the fair was a highlight last year, so I'm really looking forward to participating again. Lots of great authors, lots of great books. If you live near Cinci (a terrific little city, btw!) come and check it out!

It's been a while...
Wow, I guess it's been a while since I've had a blog! Looking back over the last things I posted (quite a few) years ago, makes me realize how much I miss giving updates about my work and what I'm doi

The biggest news...I have a new YA novel coming out soon! "Wrecked" (Caitlyn Dlouhy Books/Simon and Schuster) hits stores March 15, 2022! Like my very first YA novel ("Making the Run," HarperCollins, 2001), "Wrecked" is set in rural Kentucky and it deals with some heavy issues, like drug abuse, but it's also about first love and family and friendship. And something more...but I'll reveal that at a later date.
I really hope readers connect with Miri, Fen, and Clay, three 16-18 year olds, who tell the story from their three different points of view. I hope the story resonates with readers who are interested in a gritty view of life in a rural America where sometimes drugs appear to be the only way out. More soon!
