I love Heather's Poetry. She sees what is around her and comments on it with her poems. She can go from making you cry to making you laugh in just a few lines. I also noticed on her blog that she always responds to all her comments individually. Even when it is a post that generates a lot of comments.

Thank you Maria for interviewing Heather, it was wonderful to read the inner workings of another poet. Heather has had quite a life at such a young age. So rich in experience and in the arts. I am going to go hop over and take a peek at her books. Who knows?

Interesting as usual, Maria, and I would say that I too am not one for poetry but I like to test out other kinds of writing.

Great interview! I didn't know Heather has her photos in publications like the National Geographic, etc. :) It is also good reading about how a poet grows or begins to write poetry too. :)Thanks for the giveaway!!
Thanks for reading! My photos have been in National Geographic TRAVELER magazine and Equinox- I am still dreaming of getting a piece in National Geographic magazine! Something else to reach for. Good luck in the draw!
I am looking forward to reading them all...I started writing when I was young too. Heather is amazing!
