Nice! When you write a book, you really put yourself out there and lately with all the social media, some authors behave in a very unbecoming way. I am sure it must be hard to see someone so easily trash (not in this case) what someone else has worked so hard over. But C.S. Einfeld: what a beautiful reaction to the review!! I am ever so delighted!
Most children's movies (and books) have a message like that. From Fables, Fairy Tales to our beloved Dr. Seuss, they all teach something. It's the very reason I so enjoyed Neverdark. It wasn't preachy at all.
Thanks guys!!We did make a conscious effort not to be "preachy", but there's a definite stance taken in Neverdark. However, it's always been something I hope parents and teachers will use as a launching point for *discussion* not indoctrination. Discussion is where learning begins and lesson #1 (imo) is *learn how to think for yourself*!
