I like Wellington's short, punchy style of writing but this book was overly long. The premise was great but the main villain was lacking and the cliffhanger ending was unsatisfying. I wanted so much more out of a SF book from Wellington.

Reading this right now! I love it!!!

I absolutely loved this book, book two is already pre ordered! I was entertained the whole way though, and I can’t wait for the next one to continue the story, November 5th I'm ready!! The way it ended I'm sad but I know the next book is going to be killer I can’t wait.

I seriously enjoyed it. I love the idea of the basilisk, and how everything eventually clicks together
