Think Romans vs. Dragons
Two brothers. Two paths. One crown to seize.
Hey, everyone! Big news. Dragon's Son went live on Kindle Vella last week.
Dragon's Son is a sword and sandal fantasy, packed with political intrigue, epic battles, romance, and dragons. It is completely unrelated to the Fire City series (which I am still writing, never fear). :D
The setting is inspired by Classical Rome + Roman Byzantium. Combining that with dragon slaying was a ton of fun.
Here's the blurb for you:
"The Beotian empire is rising. Alexis Comnenus is the prince every nation dreams of and has spent the last five years expanding the borders. His young wife, Princess Amarea, has not seen him since their wedding, but yearns for the day when he will at last return. Alexis has written such glorious letters.
Yet Alexis is not what Amarea imagined, and when the gossip surrounding his birth proves true, Alexis and Amarea fight both dragons and politicians to keep the empire together."
Kindle Vella is new territory for me, but I'm excited for the experience. If you enjoy fantasy and/or serial fiction, please give it a try!
Happy reading!
P. S. I classify myself as a clean author. No foul language, no obscene violence (though there is violence), and no sex scenes (though there are thematic elements).
